Our Mission
At Makayla’s Voice, we believe every non-verbal individual has a voice full of possibility, waiting to be heard.
With the right tools, we help unlock that voice, empowering meaningful connections with the world. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive environment where non-verbal communicators and their families can access the resources they need to thrive.
The Center
Through our state-of-the-art center, therapeutic programs, grants, and community outreach, we are advancing the acceptance of letter boarding as a vital communication tool. Together, we aim to transform the lives of individuals 22 and under within the Atlanta Perimeter.
Though Khari "Needlz" Cain has gained success creating hits for the likes of Drake, Bruno Mars and Cardi B, he and his family have dealt with many of these same challenges.
They've gone to extreme measures to find specialized clinicians and educational resources that their daughter Makayla and every non-verbal child deserves.
